* Basics Class:
The aim of these classes is to introduce the basic skills necessary to safely join the general
classes where technical practice is more emphasised.
* General Class:
All classes begin and end with a formal etiquette (reigi) whose meaning is to contain the
training experience within the bounds of attention, trust and respect. These are the essential ingredients in creating
an atmosphere within the dojo where practitioners can put each other under pressure in a safe way without letting
the practice stray into areas of competitiveness or loss of control.

"I feel what you call fear; but I call it a call to action. O Sensei Ueshiba, Founder of Aikido. We
need a technology to resolve the war within so that we can stop projecting our inner struggles outward. It must be simple
so everyone can use it. If this technology were effective, it would resolve the inner conflict and the external struggles
as well. Such a technology would enable us to use all the energy available to create a beautiful world."
Compilation Sandan Test Carolina van Haperen, 2006:
Aikido Performance Clip Sandan Test. The images are designed around the song Crazy of Seal. Here
you can see Aikido from a technical and spontaneous point of view,
solo and with partner(s), with weapons and open hand. In the spontaneous
movements often music is used. The test took place in Cully, Switzerland. Examinator is
Patrick Cassidy and
guest teacher Miles Kessler. Creator of this beautiful piece is Gael Vittoz.
"All life is a manifestation of the spirit, the manifestation
of love. And the Art of Peace is the purest form of that principle. Universal love functions in many forms; each
manifestation should be allowed free expression." - Morihei Ueshiba -
