"We are working on developing Aikido by using resistance in training, yet trying to keep in from being competitive. We're
calling it 'non competitive resistance'. We're using the traditional techniques of Aikido, and working with them in a very
honest and exploritive mannor." - Chris Hein, dec. 2006 -
One does not need buildings,
money, power, or status

BACHS
BACHS stands for Bredase Aikido Cheng Hsin School.
She provides classes twice a week; aikido taijitsu, aikido jo- and bokken and Cheng Hsin classes. These classes
will be held in BACHS' own dojo at the address Gaffelstraat 30 in Breda, Holland by Jan Lensen (official
trainer of Cheng Hsin and Aikido-teacher recognized by dutch government ).
Aikido is often known as a japanese martial art based on harmonising with ones own and others energy. Therefore Aikido
is generaly focused on controling and neutralizing the attack of your partner(s). It clearly has a foundation spiritually
and offers many practical abilities.
Cheng Hsin is less known; it is one of the internal martial arts. Technically most of the practice comes from Tai Chi,
but the emphasis is more into partnerwork and deeper understanding/study.

We now can announce that the Aikido dojo of Yangon has its own website: http://aikidoinmyanmar.tripod.com. Here you will find all the information as well as some photo's of the Y.I.H. demonstration of 2003.
It is our hope that this website helps to create a greater connection and exchange between aikidoka in Myanmar and
